The 'Worked Hours' feature allows payments to be calculated based on the time spent on tasks rather than the standard per-word rate. This feature is currently available only for post-analysis payments.
1. Configuring the type of payment
In the organization unit settings, under 'Net Rate,' after defining the payment type as Post-Analysis, users can also choose to pay their linguists as either Word Rate, which is the default method, or Hourly Rate.
Additionally, users can select between words and hours directly within a project under 'Tasks.'
2. Configuring hourly rates for vendors
It is important to ensure that all vendors have set their hourly rate to prevent payment discrepancies.
This can be configured in the user profile, in the Billing & Languages tab.
3. Informing the hours spent
For projects utilizing the hourly rate payment method, vendors will be prompted to enter the number of hours worked upon task delivery.
They must confirm their submission, and the task status will then change to 'Delivery Waiting Confirmation.' It is crucial that vendors have their hourly rate set; otherwise, this may result in a zero payable amount.
4. Confirming the hours spent
Once submitted, the reported hours will appear as 'Pending Confirmation' in the 'Tasks' tab.
The Account Admin and the Project Manager have the authority to (1) reject or (2) approve the reported hours.
The Project Manager (PM) will also receive a notification in the Dynamic Feed, allowing them to review and confirm or reject the submission.
If the entry is rejected, the vendor must adjust and resubmit the time entry accordingly. A notification regarding the rejection will be displayed in the Dynamic Feed for the vendor to take action.
Approved hours will be reflected in the final payment calculations.
