How to Customize and Export Your Quote Report

This article explains how you can customize and export your quote reports to better reflect your brand and operational needs.

Updated today

We understand how important it is for your quotes to carry your brand identity and meet your specific operational needs. Presenting clear, professional, and fully branded quote documents not only strengthens your company image but also builds trust with your clients.

To support this, Bureau Works allows you to customize your quote reports with your logo, detailed cost breakdowns and personalized notes — so every quote reflects your business standards and style. Additionally, we offer the option to download quotes in an editable DOCX format, giving you the flexibility to adjust or tailor documents offline for unique use cases.

Adding your company logo

You can upload your company logo to appear on all exported quotes. This setting is available at the Organization Unit levels, allowing different quotations under the same account to have their own branded quotes.

You can easily set this by navigating to the General tab in the Organizational Unit panel:

Additionally, you also need to enable this option in the More Settings tab, located at the bottom of your screen:

This way, your logo will be displayed on your project's quotes:

Configuring your Notes

You can define a notes section for your quotes through your Org. Unit settings. This is ideal for adding disclaimers or special instructions. In order to set up your notes, navigate to the Billing section of your Org. Unit panel and locate the Quote Notes form:

You can add the Title of the note, and also its Description. You can either add a new note on the blue + button, or you can remove any existing note on the red trash bin. Every note you add through this process will be displayed on your quote file too:

Cost breakdown

Your exported quotes will include a detailed breakdown of costs, units, discounts, and totals. This ensures full transparency and clarity for your clients.

Exporting quotes

In orderto grant you even more flexibility, you can export your quotes in two formats:

  • PDF: Ready to share as a finalized document.

  • DOCX: An editable format that allows you to make manual adjustments offline if needed.

Both export formats maintain the same layout and formatting, including your logo, cost details, notes and overall aspect.
