Configuring Gemini AI in Bureau Works

1. What You Need Before Getting Started
To use Gemini as your provider, you’ll need:
A Google Cloud Platform (GCP) project.
A Service Account with the correct permissions.
A JSON key file for authentication.

2. Configuring Gemini AI in Bureau Works
Option 1: Using Gemini Vertex (GCP Credentials)
Navigate to your Account Settings.
Toggle Enable Augmented Translation Actions.
Select Gemini Vertex as your provider.
Once you select Gemini as your provider, you’ll see configuration fields:
Project ID
Enter your Google Cloud Project ID. Example:
bureau-works
Location
Enter your GCP region. Example:
us-central1

Credentials Setup
You’ll need to upload your Service Account JSON file:
Click File Upload.
Browse and select your JSON credentials.
Click "Validate Credtenials"
Wait until the system displays the green 'Credentials validated' message.
Click save
Option 2: Using Gemini Studio (API Key)
Navigate to your Account Settings.
Toggle Enable Augmented Translation Actions.
Select Gemini Studio as your provider.
Once you select Gemini Studio, you’ll see configuration fields:
Enter your API Key generated in Google AI Studio.
To create an API Key, follow Google’s guide: Get API Keys.
Model Selection
Bureau Works supports Gemini models that you can select from a dropdown.
Currently available: Gemini 2.0-flash-lite (immediate use).
Coming soon: Gemini 2.5-flash-lite (with enhanced performance).
